Two-part captive bead mechanism, the hoop for 16ga 8mm and 16ga 10mm are ASTM F-136 g23 implant grade titanium. Hoops for 14ga 10mm and 12ga 11mm are ASTM-F138 316-LVM Implant Grade Steel both sourced from U.S. based certified manufacturer. The decorative sheath is .925 sterling silver nickel-free two-part additive-free Ag/Cu alloy. The hoop is inserted into the piercing and the decorative sheath snaps onto the hoop in the same way as a conventional captive bead mechanism.

Please Note that the fit of the sterling piece to the hoop is a bit looser than my more sheith-shaped designs giving it the ability to dangle and move somewhat if the sound or sensation of movement below your nose might easily bother you then this may be an issue.
Each piece is individually cast and hand-finished in my GA-based studio, as with all handmade products expect variation between each individual piece.
